Browsing the website
The website does not offer visitor accounts, comments, purchases, or a contact submission form. The current site code does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or externally hosted fonts. It does not set application cookies or save your search history in browser local storage.
Cloudflare hosting and security
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the public website. When you request a page or file, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request timing to deliver the site and help protect its network. Cloudflare may retain traffic and security information under its service policies.
Depending on enabled security features, Cloudflare may use cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic or remember a completed security check. The absence of tracking code in our pages does not mean that the hosting service processes no information.
Cloudflare operates internationally, so information may be processed outside your country. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and its cookie documentation for provider details.
Site search
Search matches are calculated in your browser using a search index downloaded from this website. We do not send queries to an external search service. Search terms appear in the page URL and may be saved in browser history. Opening, sharing, or reloading a search URL can send those terms to the hosting service, so avoid entering personal or sensitive information.
When you email us
Messages sent to info@fixertoolbox.com pass through Cloudflare Email Routing and are forwarded to a Gmail inbox managed by the site owner. Cloudflare and Google therefore process information involved in delivering and storing that correspondence.
Your email address, any name you provide, message contents, and attachments are used to read and respond to your enquiry and investigate corrections or problems you report. Please send only the information needed for your enquiry and avoid including passwords or sensitive personal documents.
On our side, only Daniel Johansson accesses the contact mailbox. We use correspondence only for enquiries, corrections, and related follow-up, not newsletters or marketing. We do not give our local AI access to these emails or submit them to AI tools. Cloudflare and Google still process correspondence as described above to provide their services.
Our legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR to answer enquiries and investigate corrections. Our interests are responding to people who contact us and maintaining accurate, useful guidance. We limit processing to information needed for those purposes, restrict mailbox access, and apply the retention period below.
For the processing we control to deliver and protect the website, our legitimate interests are making pages available and preventing abuse. This does not authorise unrelated tracking or marketing. Our choice of legal basis does not determine the basis on which a provider processes information for its own purposes.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your particular circumstances by contacting info@fixertoolbox.com. We will stop that processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or need it for legal claims.
How long we keep enquiry emails
We review the contact mailbox monthly and delete ordinary enquiry emails, replies, and their attachments within six months after the enquiry is resolved. We may delete them sooner when they are no longer needed.
This period applies to correspondence under our control in the contact mailbox. Hosting logs and provider-held copies, including backups, follow the applicable provider settings and policies; deleting an email from our mailbox does not promise immediate deletion from those systems.
Links to other websites
If you follow an external link, the destination handles your visit under its own privacy practices. The current website has no active affiliate tracking links. If that changes, the relevant disclosures and this notice will be reviewed.
Your privacy requests
You can contact us to ask about personal information we hold about you or request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. These rights have limits, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.
You may raise a concern with your local data protection authority. In Sweden, see the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
